Microsoft Updates Online Services Pricing in 2025: What It Means for Your Organization

On November 1, 2025, Microsoft will implement a new pricing adjustment for Online Services purchased under volume licensing agreements. This change is designed to standardize and simplify pricing, aligning it with Microsoft.com and ensuring greater transparency across all purchasing channels.

What’s Changing?
• The single consistent pricing model will expand to include all Online Services under Enterprise Agreement (EA, OSPA in China) and Microsoft Products and Services Agreement (MPSA).
• Pricing will be the same across all levels (A–D).
• The update applies at your next contract renewal or when acquiring new
services not already listed on your Customer Price Sheet.

What’s Not Changing?
• No impact on on-premises software pricing.
• Excludes U.S. Government and global Education price lists.

The Opportunity: From EA to CSP
While this announcement may raise questions, it also creates an important opportunity for organizations to embrace a more flexible licensing model. Migrating from Enterprise Agreement (EA) to Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) brings several advantages:

• Scale licenses dynamically according to business needs.
• Gain more control without the rigidity of long-term agreements.
• Leverage management tools, automation, and partner support.

At Intcomex, we are ready to guide you through this transition, offering a robust CSP ecosystem that simplifies license management and maximizes your cloud investment.
