  1. Cloned an existing list – They copied the default list and renamed it with the client’s name for easy tracking.
  2. Adjusted pricing – Exported Microsoft prices and applied a formula to add a custom margin of 10% (or more, depending on the client).
  3. Uploaded and reviewed – Imported the new list, checked the pricing, and saved it directly from the Marketplace dashboard.
  4. Assigned to the client – Set the customized list as the active one for the client from their profile in ICP.

Results

  • Higher margins – Tailored pricing helped increase profits without affecting competitiveness.
  • Better segmentation – Corporate clients received different pricing from SMBs, based on their buying volume.
  • Centralized control – The sales team can now create targeted price lists by industry or campaign, without relying on tech support.
